Jug Band Coffee And Tea

Came here for the live jazz and left completely blown away. The music was phenomenal intimate, soulful, and full of energy that filled the whole space. The staff were warm and welcoming, the coffee and tea were top-notch, and the atmosphere had that perfect balance of cozy and vibrant. This is the kind of spot that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend for music lovers, coffee aficionados, and anyone looking for a memorable night out in Long Beach!

Such a good store! Great espresso and awesome staff. My only complaint is they need a bigger store! Or another location for more study space Will definitely be back!

Had to stop in with the jazz theme & wonderful mural outside Our coffee orders were just ok. I imagine we didn't get the most popular items (pourover, berry latte), which might be attributed to baristas not being as practiced with said items (pure speculation ofc). Partner is a bit of an armchair "James Hoffman" coffee snob and noted the coffee was just average. Service was pretty decent despite the high volume of people coming through on Sun morning. Would love to return for their live music! That is a genius idea. One downside is that it can get pretty hot inside (assuming heat from the kitchen?).

I've walked by Jug Band countless times before today when I finally went in, and boy, was I missing out great thing. I had an everything bagel with lox and cream cheese and it was, without hyperbole, The BEST I've ever had. Truly. Barista Matia, who brought us the food, is every bit as fantastic as the food. The place is dog-friendly. It was just a great experience all the way around.

Place is cool, employees are great. Don’t bother going on Tuesday nights to do any work, they tell you to put your electronics away or go outside. I understand the appreciation for the music, so no big deal. Had to leave to another coffee shop because it was cold outside though :/

We were craving a vegan pizza and this place just hit the right spot. Loved their food and customer service. When we said, wish you guys had a high chair, they went beyond and arranged for one. That was a very pleasant surprise. We ordered the “New flower” and “Mentalist magarita” pizzas, loved them. Just so yummy. We were the last customers for the day and we got lucky to get a free pizza to go, since someone had canceled on it. I think, it was the “spellbound” pizza with jalapeños. The right amount of spice made it even tastier. The ambience was nice too. Would we visit this place again? A big yes!!!

It’s not really great for gluten free but that’s normal for coffee shops. I like the steamers: hot milk of your choice with a syrup of your choice. It was perfect to warm up with after a long day. The music plays softly in the background and you can have a conversation easily. They also use Joshua Tree Coffee which is a great coffee. Service was helpful and polite.
